What are the steps to follow to take a picture with the webcam on my laptop? I am green in the use of a computer. I would like to take a passport picture of myself by using the web camera available on my laptop. I would need a detailed guidelines to complete this task successfully. Thank you.

How to use the webcam in taking passport pictures

Hello,

 

There are many free types of software available in online to take passport size photo. You can try any one of those. As per your quest, I am here by giving general guidelines for taking the passport size photo.

1)    Include a full face, looking straight at the webcam with open eyes from top of hair to shoulders

2)    Face in photo should have a normal expression

3)    You no need to wear glasses or any head covers unless it is mandatory for you

4)    Only one person should be in front of camera for the passport photo

5)    Place should be clean enough

6)    Take the photo in an white or cream back ground

7)    Photos should be in color and not in black and white

8)    Always check your government website for the latest photo instructions before using any tool.
