I have a old WordPress blog and now I made another WordPress with different domain name but I would like to use same database file in both web site, is it possible?
If possible then I need to know the process.
It is very simple.
Just install the WordPress on the different domain name.
Backup your database from your previous WordPress website.
You can take backup from your hosting control panel and use that database in your new WordPress installation.
But you will need to configure your WordPress configuration file which is wp-config.php accordingly.
Important step for you to change the default wp_ prefix to something different.
Most important thing. INSTALL WORDPRESS MANUALLY AND DO NOT USE SCRIPT INSTALLERS LIKE FANTISTICO ETC FOR THIS PURPOSE.
Because these installers do not allow you to specify the prefix to use which is necessary in this case.
