How to upgrade Android version of HCL ME1?

Hi guys,

I have HCL ME 1 smart phone and I want to upgrade its Android 1 software. I don't even know what is the Android version currently my HCL ME 1 smartphone is running on. But the handset is becoming quite slow so I thought upgrading it may work. So please tell me how to upgrade its Android version.

I guess you need to check your Smartphone first before doing an update on the operating system.
