I am unable to perform a backup in my Windows 7 PC. I get an error 0x8007002 that says me to back up again. The problem is still not solved. Help me!

How To Troubleshoot Backup Error 0x8007002 In Windows 7?

Try out the below methods to troubleshoot 0x8007002 error in Windows 7-

Method 1

a. Press Windows key + R.
b. Type Regedit and press enter.
c. Copy \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList and paste it after Computer in the path area.

d. Delete the profile with duplicate names here.
e. Restart your computer.
f. You will be able to perform back up now.

Method 2

a. Open Command Prompt Admin.

b. Type SFC /scannow and press enter.

c. Wait for the process to complete.
d. Delete the corrupted files found after the process is completed.
e. You will be able to back up successfully.
