The audio device of my PC is not working. I have a Windows 10 PC, and after a recent update, I am unable to connect to audio. I am facing a 0x80070005 audio error. Please help me to solve this problem.

How To Solve The 0x80070005 Audio Problem In Windows 10?

Try out the below methods to fix the 0x80070005 audio error in Windows 10.

Method 1

a. Press Windows key + R on your keyboard.
b. Type services.msc and press enter.
c. Scroll down and right-click on Windows Audio.

d. Open properties.
e. Open Log on tab.

f. Select Local System Account, and click on Allow service to interact with desktop.
g. Apply-> OK.

Method 2

a. Press Windows key + R.
b. Type Regedit and press enter.
c. In the path address copy this – HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\

d. Scroll down and right-click on Audiosrv.
e. Select Permissions.

f. Click on the Add button.
g. In the new window, click on the Advanced option.

h. Click on Find Now.
i. Select SYSTEM from the list that appears.
j. Click Ok.

h. Click Ok again.
i. In the Permissions window, select SYSTEM.
j. Select Allow full control.
k. Save changes.
l. Restart your device.
