I got chromium malware on my laptop. I tried uninstalling it but it is still encountered in the system and does not allow me to work properly. How can I remove chromium malware permanently from my system?
As soon as you the chrome browsers logo in blue color get beware because your device is now infected with chromium malware, whenever you encounter chromium in your system I suggest you please close all your browsers and open the task manager, you can see a chromium task running you have to kill all the chrome.exe and chromium.exe tasks.
After doing this open the control panel and check whether you still see chromium there if yes! Then uninstall it
To be more assured that your system is now chromium-free you may go to C:/users/username/appdata/local hidden folders and delete the chromium folder if you find so.
Hurray! Now you are chromium-free.
