How to solve motherboard hanging issue?

Hello,

My motherboard is Zebronics 845 and I am having an issue with my motherboard. The issue which I am facing is, when I use to start the system, keyboard stops working after few minutes or some time a key in my keyboard keeps pressed itself repeatedly. Even if I want to shutdown my system in this situation, the "power down" error message dialog appears and system gets hanged instead of shutting-down.

When I start the PC immediately, the PC hangs at start-up, whereas if I start it after some hours it starts fine but again the keyboard either stops working after few minutes or while pressing a key it is being pressed repeatedly and the exact problem occurred while shutting the system down or even restarting it.

Moreover, if the keyboard issue is not occurred, my system shuts down / restarts normally and no error is displayed.
To fix this issue I replaced my Ram with a new one but the issue remains same. Then I replaced my keyboard to get rid of this problem but even with the new keyboard, the motherboard is causing same issue.

The keyboard I am using is the PS2 keyboard. I have got stuck in the motherboard hang issue and I am very upset due to this.

So, I want to know, how to solve motherboard hanging issue?

I request for urgent help and waiting for someone’s suggestion anxiously.

How to solve motherboard hanging issue?

 

Motherboard hangs because of thermo heat or overheat of processor or Motherboard, if serial cable or sata cables are weak, if cooling fan is damaged or working not properly. Power supplier or hard disk problems also hang motherboard.

To solve this problem at first need to check cooling fan of processor. If it’s not working properly then replace it. Check serial or sata cables. Weakness of this cable can also cause of hang of motherboard. Check hard disk by running disk scan to check disk errors and identify the bad sectors. If there are bad sectors which can not be repaired, then you need to replace your hard disk. To fix problems check other cooling fans like power supplier, on computer casing. Sometimes faulty Motherboard hangs the computer. To fix it replace it with new Motherboard.

Replace the PS/2 keyboard with a USB keyboard and check whether your problem occurs.

Sometimes if the power supply of the computer has damaged, these problems can occur, because you have mentioned that your computer hanged at the startup. This kind of situation can occur when the computer didn’t pass the POST (power on self test).

Hi Jaybee,

Probably the problem is with the Motherboard of the computer. Get the motherboard of the computer checked by some technician and if the motherboard is found faulty, then get it replaced. Replacing the motherboard will hopefully solve the problem. Check your processor ram hard disk with same other motherboard. If it works fine it should then replace your motherboard.
