Will someone help me out installing adobe reader? Whenever I try to install the reader, an error message appears, “ERROR 1324. The path C: or the volume is invalid. Please enter it again.” How can I work around this problem? Any suggestion would be great!

One reason why this error message keeps popping up when Adobe Reader is trying to be installed is that the location of the current user's account (either the C:/Documents and Settings folder for Windows XP or C:/Users folder for Windows 7)  are either changed or non-existent. If you changed the location of your user account, just create another account with Administrator privileges and install Adobe Reader there. Since it is a new account, its folder is on the default location.

But if you really want to use the account with the changed location, you need to right-click your My Documents folder, click on Properties, and change back the Target path of your My Documents folder to C:/Documents and Settings/[your username]/ for Windows XP or C:/Users/[your username/ for Windows 7. Then try to install again.
