Hey Wyman Zab

1. There are some USB flash drives that have a lock on it. If that's so then unlock the switch

2. Check if any folder in the drive is write protected. Right-click on that folder and Select properties and then uncheck the Read-only option.

3. Try this link out. It will repair your USB drive:

I hope it works

Hello Wyman,

The following is a method that will help you remove write protection from your USB flash drive or memory card:

  • Open Start Menu on your computer, and then click Run.
  • After that type regedit and  then press Enter to open the registry editor.
  • After that you will need to go to the following path:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlStorageDevicePolicies
  • In case the registry key StorageDevicePolicies does not exist, you have to create it manually.
  • After that you will double click the key WriteProtect in the right window and then set the value to 0 in the Value Data Box and then press  the OK button
  • And then restart your computer and try copying files into your USB drives and see if it will work.

Regards,

Carl
