How to REMOVE DUAL WINDOWS

My laptop in a dual install Windows, but the Windows OS is 3. Every time I turn on my laptop, it always gives a choice emergence for 5 seconds.

There are 3 options to choose Windows everywhere. How to remove Windows into one and to 3? Because they have the same name. This because I failed to reinstall.

How to REMOVE DUAL WINDOWS

Hi

If you are shown with more than one option for starting Windows then the reason might be that you have installed more than one Windows in your system. Now what might be the solution for this. First you have to find out, in which partition your Windows are installed.

Then what you need to do is.

Edit your boot.ini file and what you need to update is entry of Windows, if there exist multiple references.

Then you have to delete installation folders like (doc and settings, window and program file).

Now what is boot.ini and from where and how to access this and edit. This following link, Microsoft Support will guide you.

Hopefully your problem will be resolved.

How to REMOVE DUAL WINDOWS

Hi,

To fix this kind of issues, there are steps to be followed,

1. Go to start menu>>control panel click on it ;
2. Click System Advance ;
3. Then find startup and Recovery just click on settings ;
4. Then to the System Startup find “Default operating System”;
5. Select the default operating system which you like ;
6. And click OK.
