How to recover lost Administrator Password?

I have an administrator account on my PC and I had changed it's password few days ago. For some days, I was out and now, I have forgot the password of my system. I'm currently running my PC from a 'Guest' account(which I always have). How can I recover the administrator password of my system?

How to recover lost Administrator Password?

There are many ways to recover forgotten Administrative password:

 

1) Reset password using safe mode

2) Reset Windows password with reset disk

3) By using password recovery tool

 

Reset password using safe mode, is more common and easy way to reset out secret code. 

First, you have to restart your PC

At startup, press 'F8' simultaneously until 'Windows Advance Options' screen appears.

Continue by choosing 'Safe mode'

Log in with 'Administrative' until you see a login screen

Click on 'Start' then 'open the control panel' and then 'User Accounts' and reset your password.

 

Reset password with reset disk, is typically difficult process. It will work only if you saved your password reset key in your hard drive.

Type wrong password 9x to 10x times.

After than 'Reset password option' appears on your computer screen.

Click to start password reset wizard 

Select the password reset disk and click next.

Follow instructions and there will be an option for a new password. Click finish to save changes.

 

Using recovery tool is quiet easy, download 'iSunShare' on a portable device. Attach it to your computer and launch the password recovery software. Follow instructions and your password will be recovered.

How to recover lost Administrator Password?

To reset administrator password you will need to reset it through safe mode any time you forget your password. Follow the steps below to successfully reset your password.

 

1. Restart your computer

2. Press F8 repeatedly until advanced options menu appears.

3. Select safe mode and press enter

4. Login with administrator account until you see the login screen. Click start-control panel-user accounts and reset your password
