Hi,

There two ways to solve your problem:

1- Safest way would be to boot to safe mode and do a system restore just Keep tapping F8 when booting up and choose Safe Mode.

2-Use an install or repair disk to access the system restore points and to do that you have to set up the BIOS to boot from CD/DVD (to set up the BIOS keep tapping DELETE when booting).

Hi!

Access Control List or ACL is a computer system file is a list where an object has a permission to attach. You can download the "ACL Repair Utility for Windows 7 and Vista".

Here is the instruction on how to repair your ACL using this software:

1. First, you must create the system restore point.

2. Once you have downloaded this software double click the subinacl.msi file that can be seen to the software you downloaded.

3. Right click the reset. cmd file then you need to run this as admin. This will take a several time depending on your computer speed.

4. You need to run the command. cmd file as admin.

5. Now, restart your computer. It will reset all your ACL.

If you don't like or if you're not satisfied with the result you can always restore your computer back to its original by the use of created restore point in step 1.
