How to recognize genuine Windows 7

I want to buy software for Windows 7, but I do not know the characteristic features of the original product. Afraid to be deceived by the traders who claim to sell original Windows 7 software. Is there any way of knowing the original Windows 7?  Or can you let me know the characteristic features of a pirated Windows CD?

How to recognize genuine Windows 7

To ensure that your Windows 7 is genuine, read on the following:

1. Click Start and type Activate Windows on the search field. If you see the box that says "Activation was successful", your Windows 7 is activated and genuine.

2. Use the validation tool in Microsoft official site. If you already tried upgrading your Windows, you will know that Windows should be validated to allow the download. Go to this link to use the tool:

3. Go to Control Panel and then click on System and Security and then click System. Under the Windows Activation section, you can see the "Windows is activated" together with the product ID and the genuine logo of Microsoft.

Hi,

In purchasing a Windows 7 license see to it, that the original packaging comes with the certificate of authenticity, product key and other important documentation as proof that their product is genuine.

But be cautious, many pirated Windows now can imitate the exact look of packaging of the genuine. You can validate if the Windows 7 is genuine once you have installed it onto your computer. Once installed, a genuine Windows 7 can be validated and can be easily updated.
