I am using an old version of Open Office. I want to open a password protected Excel file. Is there any way by which I can know how to open a password protected Excel file?
To open a later version password protected file you need to have the MS Office software itself. Or maybe the new software that can open the security for Excel files.
Step 1: Locate the Excel file you need to open.
Step 2: Double-click the file to open it in the associated Excel App.
Step 3: A password prompt will appear. Please enter the password.
Step 4: The password will be verified and the Excel file will open.
