Hey Jovan Clayton!

The best software to create a bootable CD of windows XP is Nero. You can download this software from the internet. After downloading the software, Launch it. After launching it, follow these steps:

1. Close the Nero Wizard (If it opens).

2. You will see CD types in New Compilation window. Here you have to select CDDVD-Rom (ISO) and after that click on ISO tab.

3. Now Drag your Windows files (.ISO) from browser window to the right pane.

4. Now there you will see a Recorder Button, click on it.

5. In the new window that opens, select Image Recorder and click the Ok button.

6. Now click on File button on the upper toolbar and select Write CD.

7. Here check the Write properties and click on Write button.

8. Now give the name to the image. and click on Save button.

9. The process of Burning will start now.

10. Once the process is complete, restart the computer and check whether it boots from the CD or not.

Thanks

Hello Jovan Clayton, Well this is very interesting and I might ask you why going for XP? Apart that you will be needing some files and procedure to complete your requirement. Below are the steps you need to follow:

  1. get a hand on Windows XP Professional running OS
  2. create a folder named XPsetup in C: drive like C:XPSETUP
  3. now locate a folder <i386> in C: drive and copy the <i386> folder in the <XPsetup> folder which makes C:XPSETUPi386
  4. create an ASCII file in notepad with the text <Windows > note that there is a single space after the word Windows, follow it as instructed or you may end up with error message, save the file as "WIN51IC" for the XP Home Edition and IF Service Pack 1 copy the file and name it "WIN51IC.SP1" same goes for the Service Pack 2 copy the file "WIN51IC" and name it "WIN51IC.SP2" note that you should be include the quotes to avoid .txt extension for the filename. OR for Windows XP Professional you end up like "WIN51IP", WIN51IP.SP1" and "WIN51IP.SP2". All these files should be copied in C:XPSETUP.
  5. you will be needing the windows boot sector file wxp10.zip which you can easily get from http://www.nu2.nu/download.php?sFile=wxp10.zip after downloading the file double click and goto the directory named cds then wxphome or wxppro directory.
  6. Next you need to drag a file named w2ksect.bin to the C: drive like c:w2ksect.bin this step is for later use of the ImgBurn process.
  7. now these are very important steps for the end procedure so I am giving you the source of the article which was created by Christopher Heng. https://www.howtohaven.com/system/createwindowssetupdisk.shtml

You will be having in depth details of the procedure. Thank you

I installed Nero and selected the DVD Rom ISO>ISO Tab> dragged my iso files> Image Recorder> Write CD. Done. I successfully burn an bootable Windows CD. Though Nero is really a good software, I found another alternative, astroburn pro. Thanks Tunacao_Caaron11.
