How long is the life of a computer mouse?

Are computer mice good only for a given number of clicks? I have bought several times a computer mouse and noticed that for a certain period of time they no longer become operational  and that happened even without signs of any damage. One time I was told that computer mice are only good for a given number of clicks, say 1,000,000 clicks. Is this really true? If so, is there a way to reset them so they become functional again?

Well Nemia that really depends on the type, quality and usage. Usually wired mouse lasts longer than a wireless mouse, it can take up to 1-3 years (depends on the brand) while wireless do not seem to last that long. High quality mouse is better than the cheaper ones, so I suggest you purchase a good quality mouse rather than spending on some low-priced mouse because they are no good. And also, take good care of your gadgets it can add longer life span, don’t overuse them as much as possible if you don’t want getting another one. These are just my suggestions, hope this help you decide on what to buy.

How long is the life of a computer mouse?

 

An average mouse can last long, depending on how many times it was click and how it was used.

Study shows, a mouse click can last up to 10 Million clicks before it gets busted and un-usable.

Gamers need mouse replacement than the average users, like me, surfers and online writers. They use mouse too much because it is needed to, as a way of instructing to execute their desired  character of the game.

This may last around 1-5 years but this depends on the quality of the mouse. The roller, roller ball, the laser light and the left click are the one's get easily damaged.

How to make mouse last longer? You need to constantly clean up the lens and the mouse roller.

How long is the life of a computer mouse?

As far as expected number of clicks or something like that, there actually are no specific details if you check the information related to computer mice. However, if you just use your mouse right, it should last you years. This would still be dependent upon how it was made and how durable it was designed to be. To give you a very rough estimate not backed by any survey or the likes, average would be about 3 years before you replace the mouse. To lengthen that, you have to be extra nice to your mouse, and don't make it a thing to vent on when you're angry.
