How to locate hidden space on iPhone?

I have updated my iPhone to iOS 8 and my space available on the phone is decreased. I think that the space on the phone is hidden. How can I get the hidden space back without facing any problem? I don't want to restore my system.

P.S I have already removed the installer for iOS 8 but I still have lots of space occupied.

How to locate hidden space on iPhone?

iPhone can accumulate data very fast in the background.

While these files can be deleted through phone’s settings, but the hidden files can be deleted from the root directory by using a third party software.

Safari History, Cookies, and Data

Iphone accumulates data, e.g., login details, history logs and other data, whenever you browse through safari. Keep clearing your Safari cache and history.

Clearing iCloud Data and Network Settings

iPhone saves the network names and passwords in order to join them in the future. So keep clearing network settings. Select Settings-> General. In it select Reset->Reset Network settings. Some of the information is also salvaged in the iCloud. Settings->Usage->Manage storage and remove individual data from your iCloud.

System Files

Files can be removed from Root Directory of your phone using third party software, like iExplorer, Diskaid, PhoneView etc.
