How is the karaoke as a language learning tool?

I have some friends in Asia. They can not speak English fluently and do not know about the structure of the English language. How is the karaoke as a language learning tool? Will that be effective for them?

How is the karaoke as a language learning tool?

Hi,

Karaoke as we all know provides lyrics along with the instrumental sounds of the song. this makes singing easier as you read & time the lyrics based on what the karaoke machine is showing. it can be a little bit of a diction, pronunciation tool.but it cannot be considered as a full language tool, as the words does not include translations to their own language.

a dictionary (english to mandarin,english to filipino etc) is still the best way to learn english.
