How to install logitech codecs?

Hello guys,

How to install Logitech codec? I am having a hard time on the installation process because there is an error message that states unable installation process. I am just wondering why is this happening is this all about compatibility issue, well I am using windows 7 64 bit operating system ,dual core and has a processor speed of 2.1 gghrtz. Thank you

You want to install Logitech codecs on your windows 7 installed 64 bit pc. You are afraid that the installation process in not making a good finish because of compatibility issues .But, I do not think so. I think your downloaded or collected codec files are corrupted. Or, your pc is very much affected by viruses. Solve them, I think you shall solve. Otherwise, take help from these:

I’m not sure if Logitech releases a codec. Maybe what you mean is driver because Logitech manufactures different devices for use on the computer. Anyway, if you need a driver for a Logitech webcam, just visit the manufacturer’s website. Go to Logitech Support. Here, select your device type then search for your product’s model. When downloading, make sure to select your correct operating system.

On the other hand, a video codec is software or it can also be an electronic circuit that compresses and decompresses digital video. A video codec converts uncompressed video to a compressed form or format and vice versa. In video compression, the term “codec” means “encoder” and “decoder”. In digital video, every file format uses a particular codec or video codec like for instance, an MP4 and AVI video.

For Windows XP Service Pack 3, the latest and last compatible version is K-Lite Codec Pack Mega 13.8.5.
