How to install ISO files?

I would like to know how to install ISO files.

I have received an ISO file and when I downloaded a game on my computer and tried to install it, I was unable to do so.

Please assist me.

How to install ISO files?

Hi Kal-el,

The contents of the CD inf file format is called ISO. 

To be able to burn ISO files, you need to download or use any program that can burn ISO files like cdrwin, virtual clone drive, magiciso orclonecd.

You can use any of those that I mentioned.

But personally, I recommend you to use  virtual clone drive. It is free and you can download it here:

Along with the other drives, VCD or Virtual Clone Drive automatically installs VIRTUAL DVD ROM that will show up in MY COMPUTER.  After downloading and installinf Virtual Clone Drive,  double click the .ISO fileand it will read the ISO SAME LIKE A REAL DVD or CD in windows.

Virtual clone drive has a lot of other ISO style cd format like bin, ccd and a lot more. Note that you need windows explorer to run your ISO.

How to install ISO files?

Hello Kal-el,

To install ISO files that you just downloaded, you have to burn them on CD or DVD so that they are in the bootable, because you can not execute the set up while you have the files in the ISO format.

Using a burning software like nero burning ROM or ashampoo burning studio and burn the ISO files on a CD or DVD, and later on run the installation just like it is done for a bootable CD.

Locate the set up file on the CD after burning, which should be having a .exe extension, and then run it to install the software.

How to install ISO files?

Hai Kal-el

An ISO file is an image file. It is can be opened with an ISO reader.

you can use/download Magic ISO to open this file.

Once you have download Magic ISO or any other ISO reader, open your ISO file

Using the reader.

Steps:

Open ISO reader.

locate ISO file or drag ISO file into opened ISO reader.

Click extract to>> specify destination to extract file. Example My Documents.

Note: You can also use win-rar to open this file.

Open WinRAR and drag the ISO file into opened Winrar window.

Another way of opening with WinRAR, is right clicking on ISO file > click open with > click program WinRAR.

How to install ISO files?

There are three ways of doing

1. Burn the ISO file into a CD or DVD. This will create CD or DVD of the game. You can install the game by inserting the CD or DVD. This option is best if you want a CD or DVD of your game.
2. Use multimedia software such as DAEMON Tools or Alcohol120%. First create a virtual drive then mount the iso file into the drive, this will install the game without any need to burn a cd.
3. Use a program called ISO Buster or something similar. As the name suggest it is used to bust open any ISO file to get it's contents
