How to go directly to directory related queries?

Is there any way for the client to go to the directory related queries without having to do sip stack handshake?

I am working on a client application that should search and download directory information from Microsoft OCS server.

By the way, does OCS provide web service type api?

Hi Maureen Austin,

Actually there are two parts of your query, so I am going to answer separately:

Part-A:

I believe there no way for a client application to go to directory related queries without doing sip stack handshake. You can build UCMA applications. This application will lie on application server. That applications server is provided in the OCS infrastructure. You can access that service to do the needful.

Part-B:

No OCS don’t provide any Web Service or API for the work you are looking for.
