I am using an Apple TV with Windows 7. Everything was fine till today morning. All of sudden while watching Netflix, I am getting subtitles. I tried couple of changes on my own but everything is in vain. I need your help to get rid of these annoying subtitles while watching Netflix. Is there any way I can disable this feature permanently as I never prefer having them again.

Here is one solution:
Never mind, but it's actually cool to have a subtitle but anyway: It is under the actual Xbox one settings, right in the dashboard menu. Closed captioning. normally is turned on by default. It's actually annoying. But I hope this will help you in fixing it. If you still have problems, please let me know

If you are watching Netflix on Apple TV 2 or Apple TV 3, here’s how to enable or disable the subtitle feature. On your Apple TV, start the Netflix app then select a TV show or movie to watch. Now, while the show or movie is playing, press and hold the center button on your Apple TV remote. Next, select your desired subtitle or audio option.
For Apple TV 4 and Apple TV 4K, swipe down the touchpad on your Apple TV remote while a show or movie is playing. Next, select your preferred option for the subtitle or audio. On the other hand, if the subtitle won’t go away after doing this, go to Subtitles won’t turn off for further instructions.
