How to fix Hon.exe system error?

I was researching a problem regarding k2.dll in the internet but doesn't see any words that showed up.

This morning when I was playing Hon while downloading some skins in the rainmeter. The next time I opened the Hon program promptly I got this error that says something about k2.dll.

Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

One of the possible reason why your computer is showing this error is that your anti-virus program might have blocked or quarantined the k2.dll file. The anti-virus program might have identified it as a malicious file, thus putting it under quarantine.

If the file cannot be located in your antivirus’ quarantine folder, simply download the file from http://www.zhaodll.co/k/20130426/177169.html#.UbQ4jOcwffI . Extract the file and copy it to the directory where you have installed HoN (usually C:Program FilesHeroes of Newerth). Restart your computer and try running HoN again. 

If this still doesn’t work, use a third party uninstaller like Revo Uninstall to completely uninstall the program and all of it’s components and registry entries. Reboot after uninstalling. Disable your antivirus program and try re-installing HoN again.

Hello Joyce,

Try the following workarounds to resolve the issue that you are getting:

• First, you will need to go to your Garena Messengerdependent folder, and then run the vcredist_x86 and DXSETUP files.
• You will also need to try updating the following components on your system: VGA, BIOS.
• Also try a PC cleanup and for the issue may be related to registry entry problems.
• To do a PC cleanup, you will need to have CCleaner installed, so if you don't have it on your computer you can just go ahead and download it from the internet.
• If the issue still persists, you will need to uninstall the program and then reinstall it and see if that will resolve the issue.

Hello joyced,

I would prefer to uninstall it and clean it’s every single thin also the registry entries also, for that you can use this registry cleaner in the below link.

After download, install it and clean every single entry of HON from register. Now reboot the pc. Now reinstall HON and run it.

If you don’t want to do so than download k2.dll file from this link and extract it in HON folder where you installed the game. Here is the link:
