How to download real basic ActiveX controls? Is there any download from the internet of real basic ActiveX controls? And can you give me the usage and the importance of this software. I hope you can give me some information that I need for a research.

ActiveX is a programming language codes created especially for Windows operating systems and the Internet Explorer browser to run animations and other interactive data that's coming to a webpage.

After getting a small idea you can easily download ActiveX Controls from:

• http://download.cnet.com/s/developers-activex/windows/

After a usual step the ActiveX Controls will install on your PC. After that follow the steps given below to activate ActiveX in your computer:

• Click the ‘Tools’ menu option in Windows Explorer browser.
• Go to the ‘Internet Option’ and select ‘Security’.
• Then click on the Custom Level’ button.
• After that scroll it down and go to ‘ActiveX controls and Plug-ins’.
• Check the 'Prompt’ button under ‘Download ActiveX Controls and Plug-ins’.
• Also check the ‘Enable’ button under ‘Run ActiveX Controls and Plug-ins’ section.
• And click ‘Ok’ and then click ‘Ok’ again to save the settings.
