How do you convert a DirectX file format?

Hello,

I need to convert DirectX file format so I can open and save .3Ds and .X files. I have tried some applications such as Milkshape and TrueSpace3D but it cannot import .X files no matter what I do.

I found a very handy software after a bit of scouring the web. This is the link:

Every bit of information as to how that program works in that website. You may also contact them for support. I'm sure you know your way around such programs since you tried using sort of similar programs to try and convert a DirectX file. Hope this helps.
