How to do word count on adobe reader?

Hello guys,

I just want to know if how to do word count on adobe reader? I want to record the words that needed to be key in or encoded in a specific word file I need to monitor the word by word count for some reasons, can you give me a solution regarding this issue? Your suggestions and opinions will be much appreciated.

How to do word count on adobe reader?

Here is some way to get word count from pdf files:

• Open pdf file and save as rtf format from file located in the upper left corner.
• Open the rtf file in Microsoft office word program.
• Get word count including other files too.
• Go to https://www.anycount.com/pdf-format and browse your pdf file.
• Then click on count and you will get word count easily.
• You may get count for other format files too.
• Select all and paste in Microsoft office word.
• Word count will be shown in the left bottom corner.

How to do word count on adobe reader?

Hi there Vanessa,

There are couple of ways to do this. You can either download and run your own word counter plug-in or import the document into a word processing program and you can automate the process. For the first option, you can download word counter using the following link:

• http://download.cnet.com/s/word-counter/

If it does not work, try to look for Word program that can import your PDF files then use the a word counter software. Here is a video from YouTube that teaches how to get a word count for Microsoft Powerpoint, maybe you can grasp some ideas from it.
