How do I use PPC pim transfer contacts to desktop

Hi guys. 

I started to use my old Pocket PC again. 

I have the HP iPAQ Data Messenger that has the Qualcomm MSM7201A chipset, 528 MHz ARM 11 CPU, Adreno 130 GPU and Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional OS. 

How do I use PPC Pim transfer my contacts to Outlook on my desktop?

How do I use PPC pim transfer contacts to desktop

Hello Dorothy,

Here is how you can transfer your outlook 

 

contacts to your computer.

 

1. Install a copy of Microsoft Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1

 

The software allows you to synchronize your pocket pc with your desktop computer. 

 

Download it from here.

 

2. Connect your Pocket Pc to your desktop and wait for the Windows Mobile Device Center to launch.

 

3. Click "Setup your device" from the Windows Mobile Device Center window.

 

4. Select the data that you wish to synchronize. Example: Email, calendar, tasks, favorites.

 

5. You will be prompted to name your device, So just enter what you prefer in the box labeled "Device Name".

 

6. Finally, click Setup and your Pocket pc should automatically sync your outlook data.

How do I use PPC pim transfer contacts to desktop

Hi Dorothy,

This can only work if you transfer your outlook contacts to your PC.Download a copy of Microsoft windows mobile device. Hence you will be able to synchronize your PC with the desktop computer.

Connect the PC and the desktop, the mobile device will launch by itself. Setup your device from the from the windows mobile device center window then synchronize you data. You have to enter your device name.

After the name you will click setup to automatically sync .
