How do I uninstall programs from my Windows XP

I have many games on my windows XP computer so I am afraid that some virus might spoil my computer so I want to uninstall some games from my computer so that is beneficial for my PC.

So can someone please help me how to uninstall a program from windows XP.

How do I uninstall programs from my Windows XP

Hi,

You can uninstall programs or games for windows XP with a few single steps.

Option 1. Click on our start button and go to all programs. Then find that program which you want to uninstall. Got into that program find uninstall option and click on it. Then follow the process.

Option 2. Find the installation directory where the programs or games are installed. Then find the uninstall icon in here and double click on it.

Option 3. Click on start button then goes to control panel. A window will appear. Find the icon named “Add or remove programs” and then click on it. A chart will come.

Here find that program you want to uninstall and click on the Remove / Uninstall option.

You have not mentioned your visa type . Here I have provided solutions for windows XP in default view and windows XP in classic view:

In case of your windows XP is in default view:

Go to start menu, click on the control panel, then select "add or remove programs". Now select the desired program that you want to remove.

In case of your windows XP in classic view:

Go to start menu, then select "settings", then go to control panel ,click on "add or remove program", select the program that you want to remove and then remove it.

It's very easy to uninstall programs. But sometimes there are some programs that create problems while uninstalling.

Follow the step by step process provided by the application developer.

Hello,

Windows XP has come up with a bundle of bright features which has made our life easy. Now installing and uninstalling a software, whether it is a game or any other software, is really a fun and just a mouse click task.

For your ease I mention these steps. 

Click start menu settings control panel Click Add or Remove programs from the control panel Select the program you want to uninstall and press change or remove button.

And you are done.

How do I uninstall programs from my Windows XP

The un-installation of programs is as easy as counting one to three. Few options are applicable. You can either go to the control panel.

There is this add remove program icon there. You can also go to the program’s folder located in the program files folder on your C: drive or just click uninstall option on the program’s shortcut in the start menu.

But often times, there is some program that is hard headed and cannot be uninstalled in a normal way as they say so.

This occasion you may need to run the installer package in order for the certain program to be installed.
