Hi guys.  I need your help.  My desktop keeps on freezing and hanging.

I'm having an error of "C:WindowsSystem32 ACL failed error code".

How do I fix the corrupt ACL file?

I'm on Windows 7 64 bit.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hello Doriswneil,

Startup Repair usually starts on the X: drive when it's repairing – and there's the C:drive, that's the boot partition – then Windows resides on the D: drive/partition.

Try the instructions from this link:

You can try to run SubInACL through the Command Prompt in Startup Repair.

You have to open up the Startup Repair and select the Command Prompt option
