How do I break photo in pieces using Photoshop?

I have a panoramic JPEG image that I would like to break in several pieces like a puzzle.  I have Adobe Photoshop CS6 with the Adobe Mercury Graphics Engine.  How do I break photo in pieces using Adobe Photoshop CS6?  I run on Windows OS 8 it that matters.  Any tips or suggestion?

How do I break photo in pieces using Photoshop?

Hello,

Process for making puzzle in Photoshop is very easy. I will give you simple steps and if you want more you can go on the link above. First open your image in Photoshop, then duplicate your background layer (Ctrl+J) and rename it as Puzzle. Add a new layer under the duplicated layer and fill with black. Now select the Puzzle layer and go in Filters > Texture > Load Texture and find your Puzzle.psd effect. Play with adjustment texture options and click ok.
