Kendall is accepting email messages telling that the top computer industry is contributing free computers and required her to send email messages to 20 friends. What should Kendall do? How will I know if the email messages are fraud?

How to determine if email messages are fraud?

Nowadays, there are a lot of fraud messages that are being sent through email because there are people who use this kind of technology in producing money which is called a phishing email. It is a technique wherein they gather personal information or data from a client or a customer without him or her knowing that it is not real. There are simple ways to identify these kinds of email if you would read it over and over again. First, you need to check the spelling of each word and scan every sentence or phrases if it is grammatically correct. Secondly, you'll be able to recognize that it is SPAM if you are being forced to reveal or produce certain item or data that if you will not adhere, there will be consequences or effect to you or to other people. There are also encrypted links that you would see on a fraudulent email hence make sure not to click the link because it could lead to a malicious software that may capture your personal data.

How to determine if email messages are fraud?

Well, rule of thumb would be, if it's too good to be true, then it really must be. Most of these emails promise you results or returns for little to sometimes nothing in exchange. When you receive such emails, it is best to investigate first before doing what it asks you to do. Check the website if it points you to one. Run a search if there have been emails received containing the same patterns as what you've received. The more informed you are, the less likely you will be deceived. Then you can just delete the email or block the sender's address.

How to determine if email messages are fraud?

I was really confused because the e-mail messages I received maybe fraud messages but thank you Arnold steve. I was able to distinguish if the message is fraud or not.

I only have one concern, how can I know if the encrypted link contains malicious software or not?
