How to delete junk mail on Gmail?

I have my Gmail account set up through Mail. I spend hours to days deleting the bulk Emails that are of no use. I want to know how to delete junk mail speedily?

How to delete junk mail on Gmail?

A lot of promotional companies send a lot of Emails for each and every offer they launch. And so, our whole inbox gets messed up with messages. To remove the spam Emails on Gmail,

 Select the Mail that you would like to report.

 Click on the Span icon in the toolbar.

To remove Spam Mails forever:

 Go to the Spam folder on the left-hand side of the screen.

 Select the messages, and then click on Delete forever.

 Click on ‘Delete all spam messages now’ to remove everything from there.
