How to convert jpg to ico file? I am presently using Windows 7 starter 32 bit operating system in my Lenovo computer desktop. What is the best software that will allow the user to convert jpg images in to .ico file extension? We will need those files as soon as possible. I hope you can give some advice.

To convert JPG into icon file you should need to use Microsoft paint.
To open this software simply type "mspaint" in run menu and click ok or click on the start button and go to all programs and then choose accessories and click on the paint.
In this paint program open your JPG file and first resize it to 16X16, 32X32, 128X128 these are icon sizes then save your desired file as a bmp (bitmap). Then replace its extension from .bmp to .ico. It will work properly.
