I just bought a MagicJack and I cannot connect it to my HP laptop. Is there an updated driver released I can connect my HP laptop's Windows 8 beta to magicJack?

MagicJack will have to release an update driver with proper support for windows 8. Windows 8 will release on October 2012. So most likely it will not be until Oct when windows 8 gets released to the world and only the final versions of windows 8, not the Preview Builds.
So you have to wait till then

You might want to upgrade your copy of Windows 8 hence there is a big difference between a beta version and the full blown Windows 8. Devices connected to the beta version of Windows 8 will definitely experience compatibility issues as the updates for the drivers are not available. It’s more like in a “testing phase”.
