To perform the required operation you should be the system administrator and have all the required permissions

Step 1: Open Server Manager from Start–>Administrative Tools

Step 2: Expand DNS option from DNS Server–>Roles

Step 3: Restart all the tasks by Right click on DNS server and select restart option from all tasks

To make sure there are no problems left behind restart the computer.
