Winzip is the worlds' leading file compression software. Compress files to save space and reduce transmission times. 

The criteria for compressing files into smaller sizes just download, Winzip and install on your PC. This will compress your files into smaller size. WinRAR Archive is used to compress files. Just select your file and right click on them and select WinRAR Archive. 

Click on WinRAR Archive icon by right clicking on screen in new. This creates shortcut icon WinRAR Archive double click and use it. This will compress all files at one place into smaller size.

How to Compress a Large Number of File

Compressing files is one great thing you can do to save space on your hard drive. By compressing, you are putting one or more files into one single container file and the combined size of the files decrease. This is different from merging files because with merging, you combine the contents of the files into one.

Like when you merge two or more JPG files, when you view the output file, the image appears like one long picture. When you compress files, you put them in one single file but they remain as individual files just like when packing canned goods in a box.

When you merge files, the size of the output file becomes bigger while when you compress, the size becomes smaller depending on the type of the files you are compressing. File types like videos and software installers are already compressed that’s why when you compress them with a file compressor, expect the size to be the same or a little bigger.
