I was going to shut down my system today and got this message The instructions at 0x746c281c referenced memory at 0x6c89c910 Does this mean my RAM is having problems? I rebooted up my system but could not duplicate the error. Is this a real error or part of a spam problem?

How To Check RAM For Errors?

Microsoft provides the best facilities to their users. The best option is to start with a quick and free memory check via Windows.

To launch window memory checker follow these instructions:

In the start menu, type 'mdsched.exe' in the search tab box and hit enter

A screen appears in front of you, asking how you'd like to check your computer memory. The first option will restart your system and check error now, and second option checks the next time you choose to reboot. Pick the option that best suits your need.

Another option is using memory error checker software’s like (memtest86) or (PC Doctor).

And if it has been just a one time occurrence, then I wouldn't worry about it. Make sure you don't have faulty RAM modules using Memtest86+.
