How to change photos of 24 to 16 bit bmp?

Hello Guys

I was trying to convert some of my pictures from 24 to 16 bit bmp in windows paint program but it was a very bad experience. Do you know the process that will enable me to do that and please mention any easier process which I can follow to convert pictures of 24 to 16 bit bmp.

Hi Minty nicky,

I understand your issue and I recommend you that you can use GIMP.

I am also using this converter for make/change the pixels of poster.

GIMP is a converter who can convert image easily from 24 bit to 16 bit bmp.

You can download the GIMP converter from mentioned link :

you can easily convert any picture but if you have any problem in converting the image, you can download the User manual from same page.

Hy clara johnson ,

You can find through the internet a lots of banners which are free to download and others you have to pay for them .

In design it is preferable to have your own design of the whole system so it will be matched

How to change photos of 24 to 16 bit bmp?

Dear Minty Nicky,

Thanks for asking.

Converting the image from 24 bit bitmap to 16 bit bitmap image.

You can convert it with many programs. Like Photoshop, Image resize and many other third party software.

But i will tell you to convert it with the help of Microsoft Paint.

Type "mspaint" in RUN and press enter. When the paint utility opens, open your image in this utility.

Now just click on file and choose save as. Now it will open a dialog box.

First choose the file type "16bit bmp" in lower box then type the name for this file and click save.

Now your file has been converted from 24 bit to 16 bit bitmap image.
