Hi, I'm an online job enthusiast. I need to have a continuous internet connection for my online jobs. However, I travel a lot and I'm always on the go.
There are times that there is no available hotspot where I can access the internet. Good thing, I have my nokia N8, I can still access my emails through 3G/4G connection. But, I still needed internet access for my laptop for my online job. How can I use my N8 as a hotspot device? Can devices from different platform android/IOS access my Nokia N8 hotspot or will it be limited to symbian phones only?

In this case, Nokia N8 has the ability to share internet access to another device like a computer or laptop. There is a software you need to use in order for you to enable sharing your internet connection via your Nokia N8 phone. Just download this software named "JoikuSpot" and install it to your phone.
Before installing software, phone will ask where you want to install whether on phone memory or into your external memory. As part of the installation you need to approved into privacy and legal note in order to use the software.
If "JoikuSpot" has been finally installed. It can be found into you your phone desktop.
When you click on "JoikuSpot" icon this will pop-up to confirm if you allow sharing your internet connection with other internal devices.
After you choose "Yes", you need to choose sharing internet connection over WLAN.
When it successfully finished configuring connection. This message will appear.
The software is now active for external devices. You can see all open networks that are connected to your share internet shared connection.
