How can I remove wmv codec render from Mac?

Hi,

I need your help remove wmv codec render from mac. How can I do it? Whenever I try to do it with normal process, it goes a little and stops. And then it gives a message "missing some files". How can I get rid of it?

Good Day. I'm glad you asked. Let me provide you with a solution on this. Just drag the application to the trash. If you're on OSX Tiger run a spotlight search for ""Flip4Mac"" and delete any .plists you see, should be one. Empty Trash. Repair Permissions using Disk Utility.Hope this one helps.

Hellow Morison,

I am realized the problem .I am giving some effective suggestions for solving the problems.You should export your WMV files by QuickTime Exporter.

If you have already installed the Flip4MAC WMV Studio Pro HD QuickTime plug in then you can create a QuickTime Exporter preset  for a WMV using Video9 codec.

  • Click on [+] button and select the option "QuickTimeExport"
  • Then you will see the preset settings window.
  • Then select "Exporter"
  • Choose "Windows Media" from the drop down menu.
  • Click "Option" to set the options of Flip4MACQT plug in.

To select the Video9 codec set the video codec "WMV 9 Standard"

You have to check the frame size, quality, and other settings are correct and then click OK to save your custom preset.
