I have an automated machine that keeps the record of attendance of the employees in the office. It also generated a DAT file that it can read every day and I need to refresh its memory every day. How can I convert dat file to CSV?

How Can I Convert Dat File To Csvin My Windows PC?

To converts a dat file to CSV file you first require to make agood assumption that it is in a text file format so that is readable. To check that just try to open hat dat file in notepad. If it is readable all you have to do, I change the extension from a dat file to .csv file which will then allow you to open the file using Excel. When opened in Excel there might be a few glitches and dummy characters. Hence you will have to manually remove all the redundant characters in the file.

Or if you are capable you can buy some online SAAS to do the job for you.
