How to add several project managers in MS project

I am managing a very big project with multiple managers for specific task groups. I would like to assign one of the mangers to update the task status. How to set any one of the available several project managers as a manager with rights to update the task status? How to add multiple managers to one single project? What are the permission rights available? Adding the resources is easy thing. But I am worried more here about roles and their permissions.
