Hello,

You do not require any kind of corsair USB flash format software to format the USB drive.

Just you need to do is to follow the below steps.

1. Insert USB drive into the system

2. After the detection of the drive, right click on the drive and select format as shown in the below figure.

My computer

3. A new window appears and select quick format and click start.

Format CORSAIR Disk Drive

4. Then the drive will be formatted.

Thank you.

There are many ways to format the Corsair flash drive. I am going to tell you two different ways to format the Flash Drive.

First way:

Open command prompt “Start à All Programs à Accessories à Command Prompt”. Or press “WinKey + R”, type “cmd” there and press “Enter”. Command Prompt (black window) will appear there, you have to type “format d:” without quotes and press Enter and follow instructions to format your drive.

Note: in “format d:”, “d” is the drive letter of the Flash Drive. You can change it to the letter of your flash drive. You can find the drive letter of your flash drive in “My Computer”.

Second Way:

Right click on your “My Computer” and click on “Manage”. Or go to Control Panel à Administrative Tools à Computer Management. (Refer to image 1)

A box will appear. There you will have to click on “Disk Management” from left menu. All of your Hard Drive partitions and your Corsair flash drive too. Then you have to Right Click on your flash drive and click on “Format” to format your flash drive. (Refer to image 2)
