As per Toshiba, "Toshiba tablet AT300 CPU quad core Nvidia Tegra 3" will be released on the second quarter of the year. When you check the specification, most likely, it is almost perfect specially for techyv people.

I'm wonder what is the operating system of this tablet? Is it MAC, Windows or Android?

Dear Jo,

Google’s Android 4 (Called Ice cream Sandwich) will be the operating system for Toshiba: AT300 Quad Core.

This operating system was introduced in 2011-12 by Google, has been used in Samsung Galaxy Nexus and has been a huge success till then.

The contact menu are enhanced on this operating system, NFC capabilities are supported and this will ask even frequent Android 4 users to go slow in understanding the interface of the operating system.

I have good hopes from Toshiba Tablet brand and Google’s OS to go along well.

The Toshiba Thrive or known also as Toshiba Regza AT300 is a discontinued 3G Smartphone operating on 2G and 3G network bands using GSM and HSPA technologies. It was announced to the public on June 2010 and released on July 2011 measuring 273 x 177 x 16 millimeters and weighing 725 grams. It uses mini-SIM card.

It has IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display with 16M colors at 1280 x 800 pixels screen resolution. It ships with Android 3.0 Honeycomb upgradable to Android 3.2 Honeycomb powered by NVIDIA Tegra 2 T20 chipset, 1 GHz Dual-Core Cortex-A9 processor, and ULP GeForce GPU. It supports SD card expandable up to 32 GB.

It runs on 1 GB RAM with internal storage available in 8 GB, 16 GB, and 32 GB capacities. The primary camera supports 5 megapixels with AF and video recording support. The secondary camera supports 2 megapixels. It has 3.5-millimeter jack, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with hotspot support, Bluetooth, GPS with A-GPS support, miniUSB 2.0, and USB 2.0. It doesn’t have FM radio.
