I have a presentation tomorrow and I cannot connect my laptop to the projector. I connect the HDMI/VGA cable but the projector says “searching for input”. What to do?
Go through the steps and your problem will be solved very easily
1. Connect the laptop to the projector.
2. Turn on the projector and look into which slot the HDMI/VGA cable enters. (Usually, there are multiple inputs for projectors and set the projector to AUTO input or on the socket in which the cable is inserted. For Example – HDMI 2 or VGA 1, etc.)
3. Then on the laptop try looking for a switch screen button. Usually, it is in one of the function keys.
4. Switch to the display mode which suits you. Now the projector should be projecting the screen.
5. Set the projector alignments so it can be clearly viewed.
