Hi, I saw someone posted something about fauxtrabook.

Is it a software or another gadget? What does it do?

If it is a software, where can I download it for free?

And if a gadget, is it available in the Philippines?

Have you heard about the fauxtrabooks?

Hi,

Fauxtrabooks is actually not a software that you can download, but is a laptop that has all the specification of an Ultrabook in terms of size, width, and screen, but it does not contains the Intel sticker pasted on it.

When talking about Ultrabook, we are talking about a small and slim laptop that is powerful and flexible easy to carry and have long lasting battery life, but for a laptop to carry this name, it should be labeled with Intel sticker, this is because the Ultrabook name itself is trademarked Intel.

Hence, the name "Fauxtrabook" was invented, it is given to a laptop with Ultrabook specs and with no Intel label.
