Hi guys server here, I have got dell core 2 duo new computers.after using it for a year its processor and hard disk goes faulty I have changed both but after a week also become faulty, both become very hot while going down. Please tell me the slut in this problem.
The hard disk and the CPU is not the problem here but rather the cooling system of your system. Check your CPU fan instead and clean it first and test it for a day. If the problem still persists then change the fan and then test it again. Also ask the experts to assist you because you don't seem to know too well about laptops.
Laptops are more complex than the traditional CPU. I have the same problem with my Gateway Laptop before and what I did was just opened it and cleaned the fan and the holes where the heat comes out.
Your processor and hard disk are not broken. A processor does not get broken that easily unlike other hardware that tends to break down in a couple of months. If you think that these 2 components are broken because they tend to become very hot after using the computer, that’s a very odd observation. It is normal for computer parts to become hot while they are being used. With all the components installed in the CPU, the hottest device would be the processor. This is normal. But even if it gets too hot it still has a certain temperature level to maintain before it goes down automatically. If the processor’s temperature reaches above its peak level the motherboard will automatically shut down itself and needs a couple of minutes to cool down before it can go up again.Â
The temperature of this processor is maintained by the heat zinc that is attached right above the processor. It absorbs all the heat from the processor. And to assist in the maintaining of the processor’s temperature a cooling fan is installed above the heat zinc which helps circulate the cool air into the processor.
The hard disk also tends to become hot just like the processor but only to a certain level. It never gets too hot even if how hot the weather is. If you haven’t noticed any untimely shutdown from your computer then there is nothing to worry about.
