The Index contains the folders that we choose from. If we search a file in outlook, and we do not get the result correctly, then it shows that our Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office System’s search catalog (the file where our all outlook files are indexed) are not completed. Symptoms that your search catalog is not completed:

  • It’ll return ‘No search result’.
  • Files that you were expecting to appear are not displayed.

To restart the indexing, we have to rebuild the search catalog. To rebuild the search catalog follow the given steps:

  • Firstly, open the control panel.
  • Then, select indexing options.
  • Under the changed selected locations, select the location to change in the indexed locations.
  • In last, click on rebuild, under troubleshooting, in the advanced options dialog box.
