Got an error while reinstalling MindTouch Desktop Suite

I was trying to reinstall MindTouch Desktop Suite when I got this error message, see below. 

Actually, I was in the process of uninstalling when I got the error message. 

Although I have clicked the OK button, I still encounter the same error message when installing the same software.  It was becoming frustrating because I couldn’t uninstall or install the software. 

Please help on how to resolve the problem.

The error code is 2738.

Got an error while reinstalling MindTouch Desktop Suite

Hi ArnMan,

    The reason for such error might be because of the installer package itself.  I suggest you to download Microsoft Fix installer package and run the package and follow the instructions in the wizard.  This package installer will automatically fix your problem.  It will also reset your file and permissions settings and other default in windows for security.  After the installation process.  Remember to uninstall the Mindtouch Desktop Suite first then try installing it again.

Hi,

 

You just simply check your installer if there an corrupted files from the CD installer and then just simply check the software if it’s suitable to your PC and then try to download it again if it’s possible make sure that your downloaded properly so that you install it perfectly then to avoid anything error again and then try to upgrade the software and download the new release version of the software and then try to uninstall the old software and then try reinstall it again to your PC and then just simply restart your PC if it’s possible and then try do download the error repair tools it if possible only.
