Google Nexus 5 Headphone Gives Sound in only Left Earpiece

Headphone Jack of my Google Nexus 5 Smarthphone is having problem. When I plugged in my brand new Skull Candy headphones into it to enjoy music, I noticed that sound from only left earpiece was coming. There was no sound from Right earpiece. I used the headphones in my Nokia phone they worked fine but Nexus 5 is having issues. Please help.

Google Nexus 5 Headphone Gives Sound in only Left Earpiece

If it is only the left ear that is working on your brand new headphone when using it on your Google Nexus 5 Smartphone, that means the jack is not inserted properly or all the way to the port. Try pressing on the jack a little bit more while playing music perhaps to see if both ears are now working.

The connector size used on Skullcandy headphones is 1/8 inch or equivalent to 3.5 millimeters. That’s why it is perfectly compatible with your Smartphone.
